Give this very careful consideration before attempting it, only do it if you know about electronics and have the correct equipment. If you are giving your BCM to someone else to repair, make sure the above statement applies to them.
I have three BCM's on order at nearly £440 each for people who either attempted it themselves, or let some dingus loose on theirs.
I have successfully repaired loads of BCM's for this fault, charge £101.05 inc vat to do it and never had a problem with any of them.
