Re: Winter Tyres and Chris Knott
Given that winter wheels/tyres are a positive safety measure, I'd expect a discount rather than a surcharge! I agree, (although maybe not a discount :icon-lol: ) but certainly most people who do fit winter tyres don't tend to use their fancy (or nice original) wheels on come winter time so there sh...

Re: Insurance so high for some!
Insurance is a complete lottery. The best thing to do is shop around for some prices and then call one of the partners of the site (such as Chris Knott) to see if they can do better

Re: 2000 se/rd
The Gen2 is also known as the RD2 so that pump should be ok. The SE part is the trim level
For Information:
Gen1 = RD
Gen2 = RD2
Gen3 = GK
Gen3.5 = GK F/L
SIII = GK F/L2

Re: 2006 2.0 London
I doubt the spoiler will make much difference but changing the overall sales pitch would definitely help drive more interest. As for value I cannot see it going for much more than your current price regardless of the advert/pics etc. It is what it is and £850 is about right. To give you some idea of...

Re: 2006 2.0 London
It’s worth what someone is willing to pay, that’s the real truth. The world is full of dreamers ;) :text-yeahthat: Well I've put mine down to £850 ono now. From what mr tuscan said 3 figures is what they're valued at, even low mileage ones and i'm starting to feel that's the case. However I don't s...

Re: 2006 2.0 London
Can you give me a range of what you think mine should be at e.g. 500-1200 where the 500 is for the quickest sale. Mines got 27 watchers but not much contact, perhaps they are waiting to see how low I'm willing to go? I'm just wondering about all the other coupes going for grands on there, same stuf...

Re: Prospective Coupé-er
Exactly, £4k three years ago is about right, now I would say £3k max for an SIII. This one does look to be a gem though especially if it has proper service history.Rod Panhard wrote:I paid 4k for mine with a similar mileage but that was 3 years ago now which is why I thought it should be less today.

Welcome to the club
FOUR GRAND!!!!
Not sure I would pay that for an SIII, though it does look to be in great condition. It's MOT history is very clean (1 fail for parking brake back in 2013). Not sure on its service history though.
Good luck with the viewing

Re: Engine trouble - various issues
As Robbo says CPS/TPS was often the cause of difficult starts after short journeys so def check those. As for the hesitant acceleration if the plugs/leads don't fix it it could potentially be coils (had this very issue on my Vauxhall Adam and it was a dodgy coil)

Welcome MotoJojo :greetings-waveyellow: If you can push to get a Gen3 as the Gen1and 2 have a tendency to rust quite badly unless you can buy one like robbo's excellent example that's been looked after so well. Mind you saying that Gen3s and 3.5s rust as well so what do I know :confusion-shrug: :lau...

The first part of the issue is more a UX error. The second part where by the closing of one section and opening of another, that are different heights causes the content to push off the screen
