Re: REMAP NOW AVAILABLE

Should've put it on a dyno... That's all I'll say. Yeah, as I said it's a shame I didn't have enough notice to do a dyno test beforehand for comparison. Think I'll get one done at some point this year. Would be interesting if imgoingspace could do before/after. Still - acceleration, rather than pow...

Ross makes a tonne from club members (you don't need a calculator to figure that out), so another specialist would be welcome - especially one with presence on the forum itself.

Let's spend all the money on a pointless bodykit, but not address simple things like the door handle being broken... [Flying one] sake - who are these people? They don't deserve the [Copulating] oxygen.

Odd how it would be taxed until 10/2014 too... me thinks it has had a fault, they tried to fix it and buggered the whole thing up.

You'd get most of your money back just claiming the tax. :laughing-rollingyellow:

Re: I'm trying to like it

At first, I saw the 117748 miles on the clock and thought, "[Flying one], this must be a good V6." Then I scrolled and read: Engine rebuild at 98,000 miles, new flywheel + clutch. Which was followed by a large aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Then I closed the page because...

Sky have been a complete letdown for me and AF. They throw quotes of thousands when I'm already getting ones for a couple hundred quid. I've called them 3 years in a row and they have failed every time.

Re: The pitfalls of selling modified cars.....

When you modify a car to your taste, it becomes a car targeted at you. I find that the only cars that are more valuable modified are those that are more desirable when modified: Skylines, Supras, RX-7s, Glanzas... The sort of cars people buy to actually modify. I'm afraid that the Coupe does not fal...

Leaking valve/rocker cover

Very commonly, the valve cover gasket gives up the ghost (or has not been fitted correctly) and lets oil pour all over your shiny engine. Removed the valve cover? Change the gasket. Fitted a camshaft? Change the gasket. PCV valve failed? Change the gasket. You get the idea... if you mess with the va...
