Re: REMAP NOW AVAILABLE

This is great! This is something I have planned in a few months. I was going to have it done in Bristol but given the discount and the expertise of Ross, this sounds like a pretty good deal. Kudos for sorting this out.

Re: SIII Engine being Dismantled

It sounds like I was exactly your target market - I am always on the lookout for bargain spares for 'just in case' moments or testing. Well I still have the alternator and coil pack (with leads). £50 for both with postage seems about right. Let me know if you're interested. I'll soon have another i...

Re: SIII Engine being Dismantled

You've just missed out on all those people who, like me, bid in the closing moments! For a 99p auction? It's just not worth it. These are all parts that people replace immediately when they fail. I had hoped there are a few looking to grab a part at a bargain to stick on the shelf until they need i...

Re: SIII Engine being Dismantled

I removed the other listings as I only had interest in the air con compressor. As the only bid has it at 99p, I don't think this is the way to auction these. I'll let this one end, but I'm going to keep the rest as spare components.

Re: SIII Engine being Dismantled

Thanks for the advice on postage. I've just gone with eBay's default postage pricing and I consider any over-charge to be factored into whatever the final selling price will be. I know the comparison sites give different options and I didn't want to complicate it. Also, I wouldn't touch Hermes (who ...

SIII Engine being Dismantled

Some may be aware that a blown head gasket has created a need to replace my cylinder head. After some looking around, it became easier and more cost effective to purchase an entire engine. The result is I now have a complete replacement G4GC SIII engine, 43k miles and fully working. The head is call...

How exactly is it rough?

Have you checked your idle control valve? It might be clogged up. A clean out with some carb cleaner may help.

Re: Brilliant eobd reader

I have the Bluetooth one. Works fine with torque and can be left in all the time. The issue is really the torque software, which just gives the code and a link to the web to give info.

Re: 03 silver 2.0l breaking

Hey mate. You can have them for a 10-er?! exept for the gear surround trim as it's been sold. I'll give you £5 for them? On top of the fuel cover I'm already buying. I'm guessing they already have wear so I'm planning to re-spray them anyway. Let me know? yeah.. you can have them for a 5-er.. but t...

Re: 03 silver 2.0l breaking

If you're thinking of breaking that, don't underestimate how hard it will being to sell the mechanical elements. The trims, headlights etc will sell easily, but it looks like you're going to end up with a car on your drive that you can't drive and the bigger parts like the engine, axles, gearbox etc...

Ahh! Damn! I was having a tidy up yesterday and thought "no one would want those" so binned them ... sorry! If it helps at all, they were rough and not in good condition ... I didn't try attaching the tweeter after taking it off ... however it was another one of those things I binned. So ...

Re: 2004 Hyundai Coupe 2.0 breaking for parts

I'll be interested in a price for the plastic speedo surround, tweeter plastics and door switch cowls. I would also like a new gear knob surround but I need an SIII one with the holes for the seat heater buttons, which wouldn't be in this model. Speedo surround - £10 I have the passenger side tweet...
