Re: Lambda (O2) Sensors
exhaust section would be around £40 for the whole centre section, or around £25 for a flexi repair section. compared with over £100 for a Cat, I am keeping my fingers crossed it is as simple as an exhaust leak!

Re: Lambda (O2) Sensors
Cheers Lexo - will fall back to that once i have investigated the possibility of a leak on the flexi. light came back on, so the OBD reset lasted just 3 trips. Currently finishing off a tank of fuel with injector cleaner in it (usually do it on rough idling cars to see if it helps any - certainly he...

Lambda (O2) Sensors
Hi, a quick tale of woe regarding the rear lambda sensor on my GF's 2002 2.0 SE Auto. when she got the car the engine warning light (orange) was on - I suspected emissions. bought a OBD II reader (about £12 off ebay) and sure enough P0138 error code (Bank 1 Sensor 2, High Voltage) showed. new rear s...

Re: Gen 3 Throttle Position Sensor - part numbers?
soaked the old one in WD40 and tried to flush it out a bit before putting back on last night. today's run to my physio session are tending towards a big improvement with no stalling and a pretty smooth and judder free drive. Unfortunately (or fortunately for my freshly seeded lawn), it is lashing it...

Re: Gen 3 Throttle Position Sensor - part numbers?
Hi Glen M,
thanks for this. does that mean it may be better to aim for a Gen2 part? how will I know if the motor is VVT?
Cheers,
DD

Gen 3 Throttle Position Sensor - part numbers?
Hi, My girlfriend has recently acquired a 2002 2.0 Auto SE which tends to hunt in the revs a little. once warm and in heavy traffic it will hunt more, drop a lot, and regularly stall. after much reading around, I have checked the inlet manifold for leaks (seems ok), changed plugs and checked HT lead...

Hello From Liverpool
Good Afternoon, just a quick hello as I join the forum. As usual, I am in need of tech advice, so where better to look. Currently trying to keep my girlfriend's 2002 Hyundai Coupe 2.0 SE Auto running. only 78k miles on the clock and in generally decent condition. usual TPS and lambda sensor problems...
