Re: Flaming accident

I would not recommend drunken baking either. My flatmate and I nearly burnt the kitchen down making apple pie a few years ago. She over did the JD in the apple and left the saucepan on high gas when adding...pouring...no....splashing it around hoping most would go in the saucepan. Does sober one up ...

Electric window motors are prone to excess wear and door lock actuators are also a common issue. All cheaply fixed by buying from E Bay. :icon-biggrin:

Rear wheel arches, good idea to look closely at them.

Not really, at least if you don't drive like a cross between Ken Block, Lewis Hamilton and Colin McRae :icon-biggrin:

Re: hey guys does this seem fair?

Many, many, many years ago I worked with a guy who's style of driving involved him coasting up to lights and junctions in fact anywhere he could. His theory was it was cheaper to replace brake pads and shoes than a clutch so why wear it out quicker by changing down. In the 6 years I worked with him ...

Re: Chris Knott's September Special...

I got mine off you this month, £100 cheaper than my previous insurer and with the mods declared. Over £200 cheaper if I had gone with them and declared mods. No contest, oh and Cathy was not just fab but really lovely as well.

Re: Bleeding the clutch.. or so i thought

As a side topic of this thread, I once spent most of the day scrambling about under my Granada changing a clutch. So rushing to get it all put back together to go to a party that evening I skipped a few of my usual OCD'ish checks. Great got it all back together and everything hooked up mid afternoon...

Re: Hyundai coupe video reviews - add ones you find here

I watched that video before I bought my Coupe and my immediate thought was why has this guy not got a qualified driver sitting next to him? My dog knew more about cars when he was alive than this muppet. Suffice to say I laughed at his ridiculous comments so much I nearly...well nearly... :laughing-...
