Are you looking to get the 1.6 due to insurance? if so its worth checking the 2.0 as when I first got mine the 2.0 was actually cheaper than the 1.6. Also its a bit easier getting parts for the 2.0.

Check the service history and see if the belts were done at the correct time/mileage.
Alarms are common to go on the Gen 3 and yes the clutch bite point is high on the coupe. Takes a while to get use too.

Welcome to the club. My clutch was high when I got it at 21k on the clock 4.5 years on and its still the same.

Hang on, any Coupe user who has claimed they have had there car mapped in the past has been told its impossible without exception then all of a sudden its all possible?. Out of interest what had changed?. I'm deffo up for getting it done but need to get around why the complete change in direction. ...
