Unfortunately, even though I did turn up on the Sunday, I actually missed a lot of you since I got distracted and stopped off for a few hours on the way up :angry-banghead: (Duxford Air Show  )

Luckily I managed to catch Dupleman before he left, a lot less uglier than in his pictures so I think that's a compliment...? :confusion-shrug: :laughing-rollingyellow:

Also Lexo and his friend were good to see since they came such a long way; kudos for the dedication! Have a good drive home tomorrow :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Some of the regular rabble were still there when I finally turned up so that was nice too :) Carlsberg, Beast, Lizzyblue, Mike Lawre...
New faces too in the form of Ascadian, Dodge (shiny!!) and I'm sure a few more just as they were leaving!

Saw Bex's coupe and her amazing bonnet! Then I turned around and the car was gone so I'm guessing I missed you too :icon-lol:

I'm hoping to experience more than just an hour of the Modified Nationals next year - maybe the whole weekend? :confusion-shrug: We'll see how it goes!

I didn't bring my big camera with me since there were already some great photos taken and posted on the forum & associated social media; any that I would have taken would have looked exactly the same!

So, from my short time at the Mod Nats (and I still had to pay to get in!!! :angry-banghead: :angry-banghead: :angry-banghead: ), I hereby present you with the honour of a collection of curly moustache selfies to prove that I was there:

Actually loved that yellow S2000

All I saw was people taping up their cars and rims for the drive home...

You must come next time, your car is a beaut and deserves to be on the stand where lots of people can appreciate her.

After weekends extra fault I think I should cut my losses with my coupe, will just call it a very expencive lesson learnt.. how to waste almost two grand in 3 month I could cry it's my own fault though I didnt do correct checks. Im already shopping for next year's car to put on the stand though will do better checks this time an probs take someone with me when I view a car as I just get too giddy and want to buy them!
Apart from that was great weekend. Hopefully have a lovely new car to show off soon.

Bit of a late post from me but it was a brilliant weekend and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome and it was lovely to meet you all and put faces to the names!

Well done to Daz and Ady for all their organising and to everyone involved!

We will definitely be back next year!

I have had done so far a timing belt, New brakes discs and pads, and two tyres,..what was on my list were some suspensiony stuff (can't remember what stuff needed changing exactly suspensions still something I'm learning about not clued up on how it all works exactly yet) handbrake doesn't work, oxygen sensors need replacing so if the seller had not of removed my warning light that would be on, windscreen needs replacing, Needs a full service, bcm relay? broke at the nats and my indicator is stuck on.. So thanks again to you guys who helped me out and removed the bulbs much appreciated!

But I been thinking it's just doen't make sense to put right! It's done 121k its falling apart at the seams and everytime I try rescue it something else brakes..
Think I was having power issues on way home too rev counter needle bouncing around and no power from gear changes.. I think my cars is officially dying. I got on the motorway with it struggling to do 70 my foot was flat on the floor in 5th changeover forth and Theresa no difference. not even worth trying to guess what's wrong with it - was final straw.
If I had bought it cheap as a do-upper I would be fine with the issues but I didn't I paid decent price for it. It's got an mot due in August so was either repair it all for then or cut my losses now and get another one.. So im looking for another one.
am gutted about the repairs I have done already. I don't have much luck with coupes.. :'(

thanks everyone though.. Will drive it around till either 1. It dies ccompletely or 2. I find a replacement..
Looking at gen3/3.5 as my bonnet will fit lol.. But I do like gen1s too so not sure will see what I can find..
I just want a working one would be good.
