PICTURES of Hunstanton Meet 23rd August 2015

Post by Fletch »

Just want to say a massive thank you to all the people who came today. The weather was on our side (until sandringham) and I think everyone had a good time. Was great to see some old faces, as well as some new ones. I think I can safely say that a few new friendships have been struck up too.

HCOC = 45% the car + 45% the people + 10% madness.

Drive safe all

Spot on meet buddy, both me and Your sister had a fantastic time and will defiantly be making it down to the yearly Hunstanton meet, next time I shall be bringing my swimming gear.

Pictures to follow when I get a chance

A great meet, lots of sunshine, great people and 7 great Coupes! I always like to see new faces and new cars too. 10 people, 7 Coupes - what a turnout!
Lots of colourful photos attached... my favourites are Judd & Fletch going for a little paddle that turned into swimming in the sea with all their clothes on.

We also have Fletch announcing the winner of the inaugural HCOC mini golf championship... That'll be me then, despite some callous and unfounded accusations of cheating!! Followed closely by David, just a point behind and Fletch bringing up the rear.

Couple of the Merc as well... #sorrynotsorry.

I have to make a special commendation to James for his lovely Stock+ coupe - really, really clean example with some fantastic touches without it becoming a modified example.

Oh, then there's Judd's beast!

Haha I am not burnt in the slightest because I wore my factor 50! Emma however has a neck and face of a lobster I did ask her if she wanted some cream but would she listen!

Really pleased to see you guys had a great meet. I was hoping to get to Hunstanton and Wells for the weekend, but was a bit brassic so had to settle for a boot sale. Just in case you guys are interested there's a classic car show on bank holiday Monday, A47 show just off the A47 Leicester, well sign posted. I only found out about it yesterday, so if anyone fancies going then I'll go. Would be great to see some of you again.

Two more which could turn into regular meets if any of the mods would like to organise it. Two fantastic days or weekend get together. The onion fair in Newent, Gloucestershire. Live bands, market stalls from one end of the village to the other, fair ground rides throughout. Parking all day £ 2. A real good day out. Sat 12th September. The 2nd Saturday of September every year.
Steam and vintage show sat 10th and Sunday 11th October burley park, hants. www.burleynewforest.co.uk
I've been to the onion fair for the past 7 yrs. Wouldn't miss it. Can find out all about this on Google.
The burley steam and vintage show isn't far from Bournemouth for anyone living down south.
