I would say pass. Get a K&N panel filter and do the snorkus mod.
2012 Porsche Cayman R - the toy, the whip, the weapon.
2004 Honda S2000 - the daily, the workhorse, the fart cannon.

I'm not arguing with you; I'm telling you that you're wrong.

I asked the supplier from the US for instructions and they ask me to send them pictures of the induction kit when I had fitted it

Really,oh dear. Please tell me you have not parted with the money yet. :angry-banghead:

I find it amusing that any company would say fit it then send a pic so we can see what it looks like. I hope you have not been conned mate. TBH we all make bad purchases at some point, luckily mine have been cheap ones so far.

I did some reading up on those kits yonks ago. Was looking for a pair of the filters on their own for a custom job I did. General feedback from fitted full kits were that they were not the best for throttle response, due to the long pipe run.

The filters look to be decent enough quality, but you are best off with a setup that places the cone behind the NS foglamp within the inner wing. They are pricey (could always make your own?) but they work.

i wouldnt bother with that either. ive seen them before they are just a gimick to try and look like a front mount intercooler. the consern would be sucking uo deep puddles n poo so that must be why they have put that plastic cover over it? which itself cant be good for air flow.

Mine were going to be top mounted interfoolers, fed from a trooper bonnet vent ;)

Thanks guys, I bought it other year from amaerica, I did use to have the air feed behind the fog lights but liked the look of this filter, I spend a good hour looking at the pipes and you need to do a crazy amount of cutting to fit it. I had the same thought about the crap that will get on it and might not take long to look rubbish

Ahhh, that explains it. Was looking at these a couple years back. Tried again when I read this and couldn't find any. Probably says a fair bit for the product if they pulled the plug after a comparatively short production run.

Wow that looks like a lot of money and work for the amount of bph you get out of it, and as for them asking you to send a pic, now that is comical. id charge them to use it. :icon-lol:
