Driver side door not opening

Hi all,

Recently I got pulled out on and and had to slam on to stop. When I parked up later on and tried to get out, I realised my door had stopped opening using the inside handle... It still works from the outside, but for reason not the inside? Has anyone had this issue before?

I saw a post on here about a common fault with a clip or line snapping on the inside of the door. This post linked to spare clips on Ebay, but I've completely lost it! If this looks to be the issue, please could someone point me in the direction?

It will more likely be the cable end has snapped off but it's worth checking if the clip has dislodged. Drop the door card off and check it out then get the right parts.

Thanks for your response! Turns out the cable has snapped, which is a bit annoying but oh well. Do you know where is best to get a replacement? I found a few on ebay, but some say they don't match my model of car...

The cables are the same from 2002 through to 2009 but there are two, one for the lock and one for the handle. The one you will need is https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252270719613
