What a c*ck :-(

Post by thedupleman »

Being clever me, I don't like the fact the third brake light doesn't work on the scoupe ( never wired ). The rear wiring was bodged so I sorted it carefully replacing each wire as I went

Being me I devised a brilliant method using a side repeater from a gen3 to make it work,I think it's much safer now.

However not so this morning when a bloke pulled straight out in front of me who was easing his way out of a junction. I just thought "cock" and kept going. Then a car pulled out on me in tavvy I thought "cock" then one at a roundabout I thought " Jesus some knobs about today"

It was only when I got to petrol station and the light warning started banging when I opened the door. The lights weren't on,I couldn't understand it, but when I drove out under the garage overhang and braked the dash lights came on. I'd only wired the sidelights to the brake lights so every time I braked my lights flashed :laughing-rollingyellow: :laughing-rollingyellow: :laughing-rollingyellow:

It is very handy that no wiring is involved in headrests, otherwise who knows what mess would happen :)
