Barely a month until the car insurance is due and I'm becoming really popular, 5 phone calls already today! :icon-lol:

Can't say I'm super impressed thus far, only Adrian Flux has managed to give anything resembling a sensible quote.
Two "performance and modified" companies are tied on the most ludicrous price so far being in excess of £2k! (Last years premium was £300 with breakdown)
One of which phoned me to ask if I was interested and the other wouldn't let me list more than 5 modifications, I don't think I got out the engine bay. :doh:

Hopefully Chris Knott will come through again this year and bring the premium back into the world of sensibility.

We shall see.

I'm hoping a modded in inurance can quote me better this year. My insurance is due soon and it's been a headache this year trying to sort it. Normal insurance doest allow for an ever changing car that's being modded for shows.

AF and CN were both accommodating, on the coupe last year and the mini, etc. before that and the classics especially took some cataloguing of modified or changed parts.

I can tell you the most ludicrous quote so far was oddly from a company that claim they are 'Direct'ly interested in 'Performance' insurance. ;)
