Do you come to us to do the work? if not I think I would rather get my local garage to do it and save the tank of fuel I would need to get to you and back

Why do you live in the Devon area where this is posted? Perhaps before trying to be a smart ass you might try looking which section it's in
Look out guys it’s him that thinks he’s in charge!

However you do offer a useful point which is local garages who charge somewhere between 40 to 70 labour to do this.dantanner wrote:Do you come to us to do the work? if not I think I would rather get my local garage to do it and save the tank of fuel I would need to get to you and back
I see no reason why some of the more skilled mechanical people like ady could not offer a service in their areas if they wished to.....it would strengthen our areas and help members

Re: Hccs offers central locking repair service
When someone reads the post in the 'unread' list the area in which it is posted isn't obvious. You might want to look at the way things are structured so that it is much clearer to people viewing the posts that it is area specific

Google Chrome but applies to all browsers. You might want to look at putting some sort of location in the title of posts where physical location is important. It needs to be obvious especially for new people as they definitely wouldn't know to look for a breadcrumb somewhere on the screen

Not trying to be funny or anything, but are you saying that the location in the results screen is not obvious enough and you would like the location to be included in the title as well?
Here is a screenshot of how the search results currently look, highlighting the location text.

Re: Hccs offers central locking repair service
More in the post itself, if missed on that screen. When scrolling through the list people can be drawn to the titles only and not look at the other information. It is just a UX observation but for posts that offer services to specific areas the current setup makes it quite easy not to see this

Re: Hccs offers central locking repair service
I often get caught out by the location thing too, both on tapatalk and browser. Usually I open, say, 10 tabs at a time on the unread list and they all jump to the first unread post missing the tree at the top.
Lots of times I see post titles such as "meet 6/7/14" and have no clue as to where they are referencing to. I then have to back up, check either the subtitle on tapatalk or the tree on browser to try to figure it out like some sort of private eye.
Edit: also on tapatalk it says this topic is in the category "Helping Hands" so no location is obvious.
