Don't believe the hype

plenty of us on here have & have had a v6 with no problems, mine never missed a beat for eg. yes some have gone wrong BUT if you get a well looked after one that's allways been serviced correctly and continue to do so you stand a good chance of it being fine. & also prevention is cheaper than the cure ask nellysgto its not an absolute fortune to have the work done to prevent it. If you ask around most v6 owner wouldn't ever want to swap for a 2.0 I think there has been a couple who have and the have regretted it.
