So decided that my gen 2 will take a back seat in my life for a while, planning on keeping her and making her either a) a track car or b) a show car.

this means that there is now the need for me to buy another car. What are your thoughts on this?

Have a look on Autotrader. I was looking at the V6's yesterday. There is a nice Gen 3.5 for less than that. ..and several 3's for much less.

its nice ,, but a bit costly for what you get ,, look around a bit more and never pick the first one you see :)

Costly for what you get ?

What other car packs the power and looks like that fo the same money ?

The silver first link is over priced but that 55 blue gen , if it's as clean on close scrutiny it's a great price.

I think he meant the first link? It is costly for a gen 3. I think the 3.5 is about book price.. I'd pay it if I had it.

"New" car time? By buying a car 1 year younger? :confusion-shrug:

At the very least go for a 3.5.

Too expensive. It's still an old car. I personally think you could do a lot better

Yes that Gen 3 is well over priced, people do keep talking down the prices of coupes and then put their car up for prices that are over the top.
