Hello,

Ive had quite a few cars, currently selling my 2005 Impreza because I cant afford £600 a month on fuel bills. I had a friend who had a 2.0 Coupe, 2003 I think and he loved it.

What are they like on fuel? My budget is about £3000. What are they like to drive? Main thing is the fuel, I currently have a cheap Vectra which is doing about 400 miles to £65. What should I expect from a 2.0? Was thinking of a gen 3...

According to Parkers the 2.0 is better MPG than the 2.2 Diesel vectra. What is the realistic mpg? What miles should I expect from a tank?

Hello mate welcome to the club :) I think the average can be anywhere between 300-400 a tank, depending on driving style! :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Hmm 300-400 a tank I can live with. Can someone point me in the right direction to see what the difference is between a siii and normal ones?

Okay thanks. Fuel reviews seem to vary a lot. As long as its no less than 300 miles.

Anyone near Eastbourne way?

'Ello!

I'm currently getting used to my coupe (V6) but average about 300 miles between fill ups which puts me at 32mpg, mixed roads and driving. Not the most efficient motor in the world but for the age it's not bad.

We have a stand up at Brands on Sunday... I'm going up from Devon so not so far from Eastbourne :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I'm lucky and average 40 mpg from my 2.0L Gen 3 but that's mainly motorway/duel carriageway driving averaging 70...ish.

That said there is truth in the saying... The Hyundai Coupe... Sports Car Looks, Handling and Economy... Family Car Performance

Good honest friend of mine is a Scooby nut and rates the Coupe Handling :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Just be careful there are some unmaintained dogs out there, if you look after your Coupe and it will look after you...
Hmm fancy driving to Eastbourne? Lol. Just want to see one in the flesh and maybe be taken out in one.

That's the way, they do put a smile on your face and come with so much for the money you can go wrong with the 2.0L its a solid engine as said. :handgestures-thumbupleft:
