I have always wanted a Coupe in my 38 years of driving but never been able to afford one so always had older cars that I invariably drove into the ground, Mk3 Cortina for 10 years but it was 140bhp when I finished with it and a Mk2 Grandada for 11 years which died after 297,000 miles. However, some expensive life changes and a decent job this last 10 years have finally gotten me a Gen 3 Coupe. Now I have an unusual life history genderwise that in my past enabled me to be both a vehicle electrician and part time car & bike race engineer along with spending 5 years trying to become a professional speedway rider...confused? You should have seen it from my side! 
Anyhow, despite not having the "facilities" these days I make do with mothers driveway for doing whatever I can or have to fix... I am still restoring my 97 Escort Si so not yet got the Coupe to where I want it but having bought it for a reasonable price (knocked £200 off the asking price for issues, spent £25 and a couple of hours to sort them), I hope to get it back to nigh on perfect. I am lucky in that I kept a lot of tools from my "past life" including "Micky the MIG welder" so I tackle what I can myself.
So that's me...bit mad, bit serious but mostly bonkers....oh and I live in SW London
