I am new

Hello everyone may name is drucilla but everyone just calls me drew.

I have bought a Hyundai coupe, identified on here as a gen3.5. I've never been a member of an owners club before and I liked the look of this one, everyone seems really helpful and frendly and the site looks really good. Is this site a part of any of the other ones as there is the black one that's also a club?????? and a really old fashioned one as well that says it's the club????. I think this seems to be best so I will be hanging around asking dumb things at first.

Hi I'm still pretty new here too but I think it's really the best one. I looked at the others as well I don't think they are connected but I bought a pen from the shop and got given a sticker and a few things free I think the owners are really generous here, and seem to enjoy making everyone happy

To clear up what's confusing you this is the official owners club with support from Hyundai.

Slightly clearer.....

This one - official owners club, owned by me and racy lady. We have support from Hyundai, and take seriously the business of running a club. This is the proper club not a fly by night operation its all officially registered.

UKHCC - is owned by autoguide a Canadian massive forum owner that takes very little interest in it, it's gone from being relatively busy to dead these days, the admin is Lidl he seems to have lost his enthusiasm but knows quite a bit about coupes but the site needs a good update its the oldest of the 3 but only because I changed the name here. Tbh takes itself too seriously

Ccuk - is owned by a group of disenchanted former Hcoc members who now want to do things their way. I'm not a member so I don't know what goes down or how it works but looks, as you said really outdated and amateurish but don't let that fool you there are some clever people there and they are doing stuff they want but it's not really a Hyundai coupe club as such just that most of them own one.

If you compare the 3 this is busiest, and has quality content. UKHCC is dead with quality content ccuk is very limited, but it's more like a friends group and will obviously improve over time, but will have to decide on a direction and stop trying to be all things to all men. Most members here are on at least 2. Il leave you to draw your own conclusions on each one. But there is only one Hcoc, dedicated to the whole community and actively encouraging a whole community to be together.

Wow what a nice place to be. I have been looking round and I feel most welcome here so I'm staying. How do I upgrade this account thing and thanks for the explanation above. Can I ask what happens do all the clubs work together on everything?
So is it better to be on 3 or 2 or what ?

It's entirely up to you. The members do anything they want your not ordered about.
UKHCC won't cooperate with anything
Cc seems split between those who want to and those with their own ideas...as I say I can't comment on their club as I get on with some but others not so much.
Mr Tuscan says he gets the best experience from all 3. Gaz says he just likes the one as does Bex.twm likes UKHCC but comes here cos that's dead. It really depends on you.

Hello & Welcome - and I'm sure it's been said; there's a few sites and a lot of information on all that are available - Despite being a Supervisor, I've no qualms about having a good browse on the others if there's some interesting threads going on, and there often is.
I've no interest at all in belittling any other forum, but we do have a very strong and growing community here.
