Hello from Folkestone, kent
Hi everyone, I should have signed up here last when I bought my Coupe, but I'm here now. Been plagued by rats crawling up inside my engine compartment and they have chewed bits of my loom. Good eh?
Anyhow better late than never, now I have lots to read.

if you know where they are going but don't want to drive around with poison under your car you can slice up a Cork and cook it up in meat fats and the rats will eat it and die because they can't digest it.. Only do that if the cars outside though because nothings worse than rats dieing in places you can't reach and starting to smell

Re: Hello from Folkestone, kent
yes they are outside, my car is in a private locked car park under cameras, but rats are plaguing everyone by doing the same thing, crawling up into the engine area and chewing bits.Major wrote: if you know where they are going but don't want to drive around with poison under your car you can slice up a Cork and cook it up in meat fats and the rats will eat it and die because they can't digest it.. Will try the cork thing, sounds like a plan.

Also some say rats hate the smell of mint so if you can get that in there somewhere you might be onto something...Exocet wrote:yes they are outside, my car is in a private locked car park under cameras, but rats are plaguing everyone by doing the same thing, crawling up into the engine area and chewing bits.Major wrote: if you know where they are going but don't want to drive around with poison under your car you can slice up a Cork and cook it up in meat fats and the rats will eat it and die because they can't digest it..
