Morning!

Hi Guys, myself and my missus have just bought a black 57 plate Siii 2.7 V6, only 30K on the clock and looks to be in mint nick. We're picking it up tomorrow. Looking forward to reading all about just how much this is going to cost us...;)

PS we justified the road tax by cancelling the Sky telly :icon-lol:

Good morning! And welcome to the forum. Well done on cancelling the Sky box, you have your priorities straight ;) Very envious of such a clean car :)

Here he is. I've not seen the wheels on another one as of yet. Prior to getting Bruce (Looks like the Batmobile->Batman->Bruce Wayne...) we test drove a 2.0 Siii manual which we both felt was underpowered, and also a 2.0 Siii auto which was awful...but it looked lovely and I think it might have been someone's from here as it had been re-badged to a Tuscani.

I agree, I preferred the other wheels too but it was the car itself that sold it to us :)

Shouldn't cost you too much to keep Bruce going, just keep an eye on the oil as they can sometimes drink it a bit but some don't use any at all, the only other things are the back brake calipers can play up but as long as they are well maintained and greased should see you OK and wheel bearings but yours is so low milage that you should be fine for many years to come :happy-partydance:

Other than that cam belt will need to be done at around 60.000. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Just got back from picking up the car. Pleasant surprise when we picked it up, the chap that sold it to us is mates with some peeps from HCOC in Tavistock, so handed us an envelope with an invitation letter to HCOC and a free pen!
