Hello

well a little new to all this forum stuff and mine is a tail of wow.

i bought my first coupe only a few months ago. i did a part exchange with my old volvo and some cash. it had a bad paint job and slight tap on the engine. thought it was tappets so nothing to report just needed doing. it was a 2.7 V6 coupe had it for about 2 weeks then the tapping started to get like a flutter. guess you all know where this is going. big end went.

in the short time me and that car knew each other we bonded. i love the car, drive and noise. so i still have it. im now using it as spares.

i then trolled the globe looking for a new one just like my last one... but maybe with an engine that worked.. i went 40 miles to newbury. no poop. then up to Birmingham. REALLY REALLY NO. that one knocked and was full of filler.

so i went to MacDonalds for a sulk over a milkshake. while trolling through all the adds there was one for sale in Nottingham.... hmm its only an hour away got to be worth a shot. it was more money than i had taken with me but just maybe.

so up at Nottingham car sounded nice not knocking or pinking at all. drove it 168 care free miles home. the ABS light came on so thought nothing of it as i know the brakes had been done to just assumed it was a broken ring or sensor.

after 1 week had a puddle of oil on the floor sump had rotted out

but i am looking forward to getting home from the garage.

nice to meet you all. hope you get my rant im very dyslexic
