Hello! New Member, Veteran Owner! New to UK.

Post by Njtricker609 »

Hello everyone! Name's Frank or NJtricker609 or whatever you want to call me. I just moved to the U.K, I'm living in England near Suffolk currently and I just bought my 2nd Coupe (Tiburon). By the way, If you haven't figured it out yet I'm clearly an American. I was a very active member on Newtiburon.com with my old Tib and made some amazing life-long friends. The entire Coupe/Tib community is amazing.

So! I used to own a 2007 Tiburon GT V6 back in 2009. I had that car for about 4 years and loved every minute of it. Now I don't want to spam this intro with tons of pictures so here is a link to a thread on NewTiburon with the last pictures i ever posted of it before i sold it. http://www.newtiburon.com/forums/member ... 09-10.html
Image

I learned SO much with that car and if you dare to scroll to earlier parts of that thread, you'll slowly see my growth from a kid with absolutely NO idea what i was doing into someone who actually had a clue haha. But time passed and i wanted to tackle something new. I really liked Hyundai a lot soo...

...I sold her for this monster. 2013 Genesis Coupe R-Spec. It was AMaZinG. I dont really have a good build thread for it but i bought it stock and ended up with what you see. I miss that car all the time. It was perfect for me. Every part of it felt like it was built just for me. The seats, The wheel, The dash. The way it drove... But such is life.Things and stuff happened and i had to sell her a few years ago....
Image

And now i'm in England! Super excited to be here and meet the local clubs and community. I hunted and hunted and finally found a car i'd be happy with. And at last here she is...
2009 Coupe SIII Manual 2.0

Have you figured out my favorite color yet? haha

She's in wonderful shape and I'm so unbelievably excited to start working on a Tiburon/Coupe again. I have so many plans for it this time around and it helps knowing every nut and bolt the car has.

As for the community, like i said, I'm very much excited to meet you all and be a part of this website!

Thanks!

Well I try- I learned a lot of lessons from new Tib on keeping folk under control getting rid of the idiots who flame people and generally running a forum. Ukhcc never listened to my ideas so I proposed a deal with the original owner here it came off so well I ended up buying....the rest is history

I have no idea what Daz is on about, never heard of UKHCC and to be honest he does bugger all around here apart from greasing nipples occasionally.

Frank welcome to the UK and back into coupe ownership, look forward to your posts and perhaps why your over here, if that's ever up for discussion.

Watch out for what we call the 'northerners' you'll recognise them by their utter lack of ability to convey to you the English language, then theirs the Welsh......the stories about what they get up to cannot be repeated on a family forum, ginger people are banned as are Trump lovers.......hmmmm might be a bit close to home on that one. ;p

Welcome to Hcoc , see you outthere
