Hello from New Milton, South UK

Hi,

Bought my '06 plate V6 last week. Always wanted one, and now I have.
I also have an MR2 Roadster '52, and a Smart fortwo Passion turbo '08. Quite a collection, eh?

Bought from a dealer with no warranty. Got it home, after an 80 mile trip, to discover the passenger door won't lock. Oh dear. I'll post a separate thread for that.

But, for now, hello! :greetings-waveyellow:

On further examination of the car (from a registration point of view), that this car started its life as a fleet car for someones business; the area prefix on the number plate is incorrect for the place it was first registered, and it's been repainted BEFORE it was first registered (originally white, now silver). The DVLA have not recorded any number plate nor colour changes.

An interesting history me thinks. I wish I knew who the original owner was.

I was trying to link to a Google Photo. It works fine with another forum I use, so I added an attachment instead.

So, presumably, there is white paint visible in places? Under the bonnet, in the jack stowage area?

No Dougal! This one is small, but that one is far away. Small. FAR away!

Correct. And it doesn't quite meet some exterior edges, e.g. bottom of windscreen pillar.
