Hello! Previous owner and potential new owner

Hi,

Firstly, old car? Was an import on a 1999 plate (T399MNA if you want to go look it up - sadly, it was taken out by an old Renault)
Basically had it specced out as an SE. Here's a weird thing (probably normal to you). It shows up on the Government thing as a "Hyundai Unknown".
Never quite made it to its first MOT, sadly although as one side, the engine (18k), the interior and the rear were entirely unmarked, I'd like to hope that it lives on somewhere. Didn't even blow the airbags.

Now, why am I here? Well, I think these are seriously underrated cars. I loved my Mk1 and can seriously see myself investing in one in the future. Like everyone, I'd like to invest in a low mileage F2 that I'd simply use on sunny days and drag round the odd car show. So I'll probably end up with an SE :icon-lol:

I am genuinely shocked at how cheap even rare F2s are.

Anyhow, Gen 1s are my thing (as you can probably tell), so I'll probably lurk around those groups.

Incidentally, forgot to say in other thread: When was your old car written off? Recently? If so, it might be (or have been if the ship has sailed) on Copart - https://www.copart.co.uk/ which is where the non Cat A cars almost all end up.

No Dougal! This one is small, but that one is far away. Small. FAR away!
