How to identify your generation of coupe

#1

Post by mick doyle »

Just in case anyone is unsure of what type of coupe they own, I figured I'd throw a basic guide together. I'm sure I could go through the Photobooth section and use members cars as examples but I took the lazy option and just used Google :icon-lol: :icon-lol:

I just think it looks terrible, especially with one door on one side and two on the other.
But.........I've only seen pics so far

the 1 door makes it diffrent to everything else and as a driver its a great idea, we'll never have to get out to let ppl in the back again

Gen 3.5 has dark headlights with no orange corners, clear side indicators, different front bumper, rear lights with no orange plastic, theres a few other differences too but those would be the main ones

09 plate will be an SIII.
Either 1.6 if it has one exhaust or a 2.0 if it has 2. If the seats are quilted leather then it's a TSIII

From the gen 3 on it think they're one of the best looking cars ever . If you buy one & use it more as a grand tourer you can't go wrong . Love my G 3.5 never tire of looking at it

I personally not a big fan on the Gen3/3.5
And that veloster is awful looking thing

Love my Gen2, it kinda trying to be a toyota celica GT4.
I like the coke bottle design and curved sides of the gen2 over later models.

I'm the same with the gen 2 . Front looks like a celica & the rest is just too bulbous, looks like a Ford puma on steroids whereas with the gen 3 & 3.5 the looks have been compared to a Ferrari :happy-partydance: :happy-partydance: :happy-partydance:
