Much shortened "bee sting" Ariel will replace the enormous fishing rod fitted by Hyundai.

Available from Performance Coupe with site discount ---> http://www.hyundaicoupeownersclub.co.uk ... .php?f=290
These haven't been available from PC for years, contacted them to enquire a couple of years ago but was told they wouldn't be replenishing stock (don't know why they don't update the website... :confusion-shrug: )

Anyone recommend a good Air induction kit that doesn't cost the earth :-)
Ive seen then on ebay from £18 to £250 Ive seen some that put the filter straight to the intake manifold and then a pipe going up to it which I didn't realise you could do and others with long pipes to the air cone??
Also any good shorter aerials that are easy to replace the one I have which is like flagpole hahahaha

Jobs for the noob, I recommend the Snorkus mod + Panel filter (K&N / Pipercross).

Makes breathing easier which helps with throttle response.

If you handy with a hacksaw DIY it. You can buy aluminium intercooler tubing off ebay for a few £ per section but it will need modified to suit (hence the hacksaw). Just be sure to burr off any loose metal after cutting it. I'm currently waiting on some to be delivered so I'll do out a quick guide when it comes. The ducting, clamps and joints come to about £50. You need to buy the filter on top of that but both K&N and Pipercross do generic cone filters costing anything from £20 - £40. There is also a RAMAIR one that seems to come up a lot on eBay. Have no idea if its any good or not to be honest but it looks ok. Personally I bought a foam mushroom type filter so that the foam can be removed, cleaned, reoiled and reused.

The mesh filters should be cleanable too.

A first mod that is very cheap (Sub £8) is a square front number plate, really changes the way the front of the car looks.

Another is painting the brake calipers (Sub £7). Most people go for red but go for which ever colour you like.

Last on my extra cheap but effective list if painting your alloys Black, or any other colour you like.

If members could list here different easy mods they have done this would help, also list what newbies shouldn't do,that way we will have a comprehensive guide that will hopefully steer them correctly!

I recommend-

Headrest embroidery-which convieniently is done by my company lol.
It's easy to get just send your headrest covers off, costs 30 quid(20 if prestige member) nothing to it but looks factory done.

I don't recommend-

Thinking about any sort of chipping for power or buying anything off eBay for power without checking
Got any examples of your company's work mate? I might me interested :)
