Hello, one and all.
My name is Alan, and I'm know as BigAl. (Don't ask..... and NO, it's not what your thinking!)
I live near Cambridge, Cambs. and am fast approaching 74 years old (too fast.....)
I have a Gen 3.5 (2005) in Ocean Blue - model 2.0 SE - bog standard - which I am happy to say has never had a spanner on it, except for servicing and a timing belt change.
I've owned it since 2005 and still have the original tyres on it, which gives you some idea how many miles I do each year!
I am best described as an 'enthusiastic' driver who can still, occassionally, get it a bit sideways.
I have always owned a coupe/sportscar of some sort ( I own a Triumph GT6 for dry, summer use, at the moment) and if I can help anybody with repairs/painting, etc., I will happily give advice if I feel it may be helpful.

Best wishes, BigAl

Hi Al welcome over. Sideways eh I get scared of smacking my car . Now if I had a place to do it that would be different.

Thank you all for your warm welcomes. I appreciate that.

Mr Tuscan
The spot I usually manage a bit of sideways action is on Iron Down Hill on B3041 on the way to Chipping Norton. Usually quite accidentally!
Best wishes,
BigAl

I am not entirely surprised with 7 year old tyres on the car, might be a sign they are ready for the knackers yard despite there being plenty of tread left on them as they can degrade over time
Suffers from CDO! It's the same as OCD but the letters are in alphabetical order, as they should be.
