03 silver 2.0l breaking

#1

Post by Valirus »

Hey guys. Due to purchase of a new car i might consider braking for parts my coupe...
It's a 2.0l with decent interior/exterior, decent tyres all around, engine/gearbox in very good condition but MOT ran out and it needs a few bits to go thru it... y splitter on back boxes has a small hole in it, a rear brake disk is bad (due to a faulty caliper which is fixed now) and some bushes around back suspenion.
So, anyone want's any major parts so i can raise the confidence in breaking it?
Everything will go cheap and negociable. And if it get's desmantled, then i'll take everything off to the bare shell.
More info at: 07473 626 549 or here.
Thank you for viewing and hopefully there will be enought buyers :D

spoilers on ebay are like 30-40 the cheapest ones i found so how's 20 quid sound? and you get that facia for free ;)

make a list mate.. if it's big enough i'll break it... but i wouldn't break it for only 20 pounds... if i can get around 70-100, then i'll strip it :D

what about the boot cover (not the shelf but the thing that covers the whole boot including the spare wheel)? it's like brand new... took it off a 30000 miles 05 plate i think... and paid about 20-30 quid for it.... would you like that as well for 15?

the sound system is upgraded and it sounds awesome but i don't know what brand or power the speakers have but it's definetly the standard one :D
and the shelf looks very good aswell... maybe you can come by someday and have a look...
everything is in decent shape as it only has 80000 miles except for front seat witch have a hole in leather but back one is beautiful...

Actually!

If the bonnet is rust free, how much for the bonnet and headlights and Boot cover thing (over the spare wheel well)?

Also can you confirm the paint code?

the bonnet has a bit of rust around the catch but nothing major and the healights look good.. isn't it?!

if it worth it, i'll meet you somewhere in middle.. or post them with a courier so they can atempt 3 times... hermes i think is the cheapest one..

ask some friends aswell so it's like a big order so you can split the travel money and i'll meet you somewhere closer...

i just want to get rid of it asap as it takes too much space on my drive :( and my garage is filled with other stuff and i need the space in there :D

Thats cool, il have alook into postage (im nearly 4 hours away so petrol would probably work out more exspensive than postage) if you decide to break. Id still pop it on the selling page of facebook tho, the forum is very good but there are a few that dont come on here all that often that may want bits worth a try :)

I might be interested in the engine cover if you would fancy posting it to Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Is it the type that splits as in the silver bit separates from the black?

Would not be that one Glen, your after the NON CVVT like mine that is in 2 parts. The other difference is the little "alley" on the front right side for the CVVT sensor cable and the silver part has bolt recesses.

One does not fit the other as I found out last year.
People should really stop expecting normal from me... It's never going to happen :icon_cool:

I'm in Havant (Near Portsmouth) - Not sure how close that is to Essex?

Ok sounds good.

Got to confirm two things then will let you know what time Saturday I can be there :) (Which car to bring mainly lol)

Will I need my tools or will you be able to strip the bits off for me (Which is ideal for me as got to go to Bridlington afterwards :) )
