Re: Hi
Thanx for the very kind welcome all Love driving the car. So much fun. Thought i best get the timing belt done as i got very little info off the dealer about the cars history and its got 68k on the clock. Also got the brake discs cleaned, new brake pads put on and a new handbrake cable fitted and the calipers cleaned up. Think i might still not risk parking on the steep bank i normally do though though now that i've read through some forums on the cars handbrake. I'll be worried the car will end up in the river Tyne, Apart from the areas i've had looked at is there anything else I can do to improve the handbrake ? Any advice on the handbrake issue welcome

Re: Hi
Yup, I pretty much gave up on my old Gen 3.5 hand break, tighten the cable under the center console a little come MOT time and it was fine for that but only lasted a few days before getting slack again but simple enough to do once a year.
