Hello
Hi I'm new to the forum and Hyundai coupe's..
I just bought a gen3 2003 Hyundai coupe, 75000 miles on the clock. I have very little history and so I've done a service today, engine flush, oil, oil filter, air filter, plugs, leads, coolant renew and power steering belt
I don't know when it last had a new cam belt, but since it's 10 year old I suspect it should be done anyway.. I had look at it and it's in reasonable condition, but starting to go slightly shiny..
So next job will be new timing belt kit, and I'm planning to do it myself (downloaded the workshop manuals)
I've also ordered a new actuator to sort out the drivers side Central locking!
Is there anything else I should look out for? MOT due in January
Cheers

Defo get the cam belt changed and also have a think about the clutch, brake and gear box fluids whilst you are getting it up the scratch.
Good to see you looking at the important things first!
It the 2.0l auto box, so no clutch required.. My first auto too
I topped up steering fluid, and checked brake fluid and the gearbox oil which looked ok. Brakes were done for the last MOT so should be ok hopefully..
Yeah cam belt top priority now, going to get full kit and prob change water pump at the same time just to be sure - better to have a running car than one which looks good / heavily modded etc
Thanks for all the kind welcome messages!
