Drop links(anti roll bar links)
Knock knock bang rattle thump over bumps......what could it be? Yep it's the dreaded anti-roll bars linkages usually identified by banging sounds over bumps and clunking rattly noises....noted for wear especially on lowered cars. But hang on...before you buy check your suspension is tight.....shockers are well known for coming loose on these cars!
Look out guys it’s him that thinks he’s in charge!

Re: Drop links(anti roll bar links)
Do you need to torque them tight or is man strength tight enough?

Re: Drop links(anti roll bar links)
the 3 on top of the suspenion mount are 33-44lb-ft and the centre nut that holds the shock to the top mount is 37-51lb-ft (averagely man tight )

Re: Drop links(anti roll bar links)
I will try this... There's definately a clunk an bang over bumps.. Altho New tyres on front helped reduce some of the noise...
