Re: The Modified Nationals 2014
Wow....what a fantastic weekend at The Modified Nationals again this year...from not so good weather to horrendous rain driving up on Thursday, to dry on Friday, rain on and off on Saturday to brilliant sunshine on Sunday and driving home today with sunshine again....whole show was brilliant. Stands interesting and useful info, fabulous vehicles, items purchased and fitted..already..meeting club friends and new ones....we totally enjoyed it...huge thanks to rest of club members making it a great weekend away! Daz has already booked hotel room for next year lol

Pics that worry me....
I'm worried about some of these pics.....
First I see dodge is talking to invisible people again
Then I discover a member having a pee in public....must have been a big size as the others are all gobsmacked
I asked afterwards what they had seen. They said size wise it was
And I honestly don't know what was on his hands.....

Look out guys it’s him that thinks he’s in charge!

Re: The Modified Nationals 2014
Was great to meet everyone face to face over the weekend.
Already planning what else I can do to the car now for next year, watch out Dodge, I'm coming for you
Congrats to all the trophy winners, well deserved
Fuel wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, essentially a full tank each way so I'm hoping to get down a little more often than once a year.
It was the 1st time I've been to a car show let alone been part of one and all of you made it more than worthwhile. I'm usually not that sociable but felt right at home talking with you all.

Re: The Modified Nationals 2014
Lexo/Plasmastorm/Bert/Claudia... whatever your name is these days!
I went to buy you a pint on Saturday. As I was walking I checked my phone to see a message from the wife, so I called her. She then told me there was a spare memory card in the camera case (because she'd left the memory card in the laptop) so I went back to the car and got completely distracted!
Do NOT let me forget when we next meet...!
And thanks for the badges!

Re: The Modified Nationals 2014
That was Bluestar and he did indeed win "best engine bay". The other trophy was the "piston broke trophy" which went to Keiron.Spankem wrote:Congrats Dodge on your win yep you got my vote

Re: The Modified Nationals 2014
Steve was indeed just across the way from us with his beautiful white coupe, I think there's a pic of it in this thread - Dodge's pics, I think? He had been asked to go on one of the stands inside the main hall but said no as he had already committed to being on the Essex Cruise stand. He's a really nice guy - and I just love the car. He told me he's got some other plans for it......which I won't divulge, wait and see........ lol.
Re: The Modified Nationals 2014
Loved the yellow coupe owned by Spankem....brightened up a very DULL day!
