the time zone is wrong for me on this forum.
when i go into the user control panel and set it correctly, it saves it but then when i go and check it, it has reverted back to what it was previously.
it is currently defaulting to UTC+1, and no matter what i change it to, it always defaults back to that.
time zone wrong - UTC+1

Re: time zone wrong - UTC+1
Works fine for me...
However I did notice that the server was in US Locale, so changed that to GB... and then double checked the NTP knows the server is in GMT time zone... which it does... so all good

Just tried it and also setup user profile at 0.00. Still showing an hour ahead on posts.

Re: time zone wrong - UTC+1
nope still not working as it should.
the timezone settings in the user control panel are not being saved, and the board time is still 1 hour ahead.

Re: time zone wrong - UTC+1
The problem I've got is everything works for me, so I can't see what the problem is:
As you can see, its the correct time and settings are all saved up as expected...
I'll log in as Bex when I get home (and she tells me its ok ) and see if it works for her

Re: time zone wrong - UTC+1
from what i vaguely remember, i had this for ages a while back (as in the forum were in the black and red days) i remember it was looked into, cant remember if it ever got sorted, it might have turned up again with the overhaul but good possibility the thread is long gone

Re: time zone wrong - UTC+1
I got Bex to log in, went to the board settings area of ucp and changed timezone to "utc+0" and "Europe/London" then clicked submit...
It all saved perfectly well (apparently she was in Lisbon before!) and clock has updated correctly for her...
I honestly can't see any problem with the software... Lol
