Hi,
Just saying hello so that I can brows your forum here and get involved.
I have been left a 2007 Hyundai Siii by my uncle who sadly died.
His car was smashed up by a nasty piece of work - only on the rear quarter panels!
I was hoping to snoop around to get tips to get the car back on the road (and maybe even have some pointers to sort the rear quarters??)
Cheers!

Re: Hi
Hello & welcome - sorry to hear how you came by the SIII and it seems spiteful that the only damaged panels are those that are not replaceable!
Anyway, hopefully we'll help you get somewhere; you're in the right place for the right people!

Re: Hi
Been thinking about this since I posted. To be honest, most of those dent will be accessible from behind if you remove the interior trim. Bit of a pain, but well worth the effort I think. The rear offside one might even be do-able by removing the jack cover and jack.
Even if you can't get them out, with the trim removed you might get a better price off one of those smart repair guys who use levers and stuff to push the dents out. I'd definitely give this a go, as that is a really nice Coupe.
You've had some luck, good and bad. Bad: Losing an uncle, worse still, the sort of uncle who'd have a Coupe as his car. Must've been a good guy. Good: He leaves you a really nice car like that. Don't give up on it, it's a good 'un!
Edited to change "grandfather" to "uncle". It helps if you read post 1 properly!
