Hello all!
Hey.
Collecting an old 03 plate Gen 3, 2.7 V6 later this evening for my girlfriend. It'll be her daily driver so I thought I'd join up for any help or advice I may need...
Been an active member of NPOC since '07, so a newbie here to this site but not to clubs/forums/posting thread rules etc.
No knock-knock jokes please... It sounded fine to me on test drive and has limited mileage so fingers crossed, if we keep it serviced, all will be well I hope.
Looking forward to exploring the club and site, thanks for having me.

Re: Hello all!
Thanks all.
We've collected it and got it home and although it seems healthy, I already have a few questions, ABS and TCS related. I'll search around for the appropriate board here and see if I can grab some advice.
Ta!

Re: Hello all!
Certainly are! Both of them.
I'm hoping it's just one of the ABS rings needing a clean (or maybe even replacing). I drove it through some horrible mud to get it off the previous owner's drive and that can sometimes cause the sensor not to read the teeth properly if clogged up.
We'll see!
Thanks

Re: Hello all!
Update!
ABS and TCS issues all sorted (new outer CV joints fitted, one of the rings was cracked), new brakes all round, new rims and tyres.
Very happy with it! I'd never driven one before and it seems well built and goes really well. I'll put some pics up at some point.

Re: Hello all!
Many thanks for the welcome. The car might be known to the club already. It was an auction site listing in Dunstable. I'll get some photos at the weekend and throw them up!
