Re: Good evening all
I had issues with my email account login details so set up a new account apologies for the confusion and leaving my post so abruptly. I can see it's gathered some humour. Well done guys...

Re: Good evening all
I will have to check on the receipt but I was away from home for a few months at the time and just told them to get on with it and they let me keep it there until I paid. It would have cost a lot to store it there if I didn't get the work done or even would have been a pain having it recovered and returning to me. And at the time I had no where to keep it. I think the total was more like £800 and was probably a standard hg repair.
When it blew the coolent was leaking out of the engine and smoking as was seriously over heating. It caused damage to the cat and o2 sensor so I've replaced that too. But the Mot failure has cost so much more and the dinks and body work damage accumulated over the years of storage and work has also cost a bit

Re: Good evening all
Day one paid £1600 back in 2010 at about 72,000 miles I only managed 8,000 myself and it's now still on 80,000 not bad for an 18 year old.

rear calliper fitted in red with drilled and grooved disks
Black wheels original painted
New exhaust
New antenna
I haven't modified the engine bay whatsoever as just getting it passed the mot has been my main task.
Some paint work to be done
And window tinting

Re: Good evening all
And the MOT has anyone ever managed to fill the whole page so he has to continue on the other side? Six years ago next Sunday so I've booked her in with the he same man next sat for the first time since.
