Hi all,
signed up a few days ago as was looking for something more economical for day to day driving than my FTO (which also needs/needed welding again..), and so that I'm not car-less when it needs work doing, but wanted something non-dull at the same time.
Had a Calibra SE5 for 11 years(actually, still have, sat in the front garden! ), so wanted something similarly 'swoopy' lined

Re: Newbie saying hi from Liverpool
Got it late this afternoon, nice drive home aside from the M6 being jammed for 1/2 the journey,
dark when I got back so no piccies yet.
Few little niggles to sort like the left hand bulb in the multi-gauge cluster isn't lit from the look of it (quick tap didn't sort it), few little nicks/white marks on the flat part infront of the gearstick, presumably from keys/phones etc, should be able to touch them in with something. And I'll probably give the leather a touchup at some point, tho it's in pretty good nick even on the drivers side.
Only other thing I've got for the list so far is the passenger mirror, it's had some replacement 'glass' on it that clearly isn't mirror glass, as the image is markedly different to the drivers, so will have to source one of those .
Enjoyed the drive home tho, nice and comfy (I must have gotten very used to the various knocks and rattles in my FTO over the last few years as it felt strange !)
