Aggghh just broke down

#1

Post by Hotblackcoupe »

My battery went totally dead in Sainsbury carpark in Horsham.i'd only been parked for an hour but thankfully.a kind stranger heard me on the phone to my breakdown recovery people and gave me a jump start! I am so grateful to him.

Also Eurocarparts have a really good sale on batteries right now so i'll be ordering a new one tonight and driving Hotblackcoupe (the beast) to work tomorrow, thanks to my lovely generous son.

At least it should be a simple fix, just make sure you get the correct battery. It needs to have the angled lips front n back for the clamp

Just remember he's got a Gen1 where you have a Gen 3.

I don't know if they are different for the different models

Get as high a CCA (COLD CRANK AMPERAGE) as you can afford :handgestures-thumbupleft:

As Dodge says the 027 is the correct one for Gen 3 onwards

Wow, the batteries are expensive on these Coupes. :icon-surprised:
Well, compared to other cars I’ve owned in recent years.
Why so?

70/80 is the price you should be paying, that 142 price is nonsense and they know it, always shop around and look for discount codes
