Re: Hi All
Thanks
I blame a mate of mine, I was trying to get away from the modding thing, had a Version 4 Scoob Type R with way too much spent on it. Then a 1966 VW Devon Splitty, again with way too much spent on it over the years.
He had a 2000 Audi S8 for sale, fantastic sounds and fun drive. That got me into V8's
Unless you are on about the Golf that is

Re: Hi All
Love the V8's myself had a jaguar XJ8 before my coupe but couldn't live with the 18 mpg average I was getting from it. The 28 mpg I get from the V6 is not great but for me it has to be a Vaudistwo wrote:Thanks

Re: Hi All
Nice, I've driven the supercharged one. That was a bit of a surprise!!!! Quite a kick up the backside for a big car, comfy too.
Know what you mean about the mpg, thats why I have the Golf, 60 mile round trip if I'm in the office.
Cant beat the note from a V engine, 6 or 8 pot
