Not uncommon on any model in the range is Clutch Failure.
Hyundai clutches always tend to be high but if you got 80,000 miles from it then you're doing bloody well.
They are well known for early failure due to being 'ridden' and are a fairly poor clutch anyway as its not hard to make them slip even when fully working.
Buy with care and keep your eye on how it's doing.

Mine hit just over 100k before it started slipping.
Not a huge job to replace one either. Messy and time consuming, but do-able if you're confident

Does anyone know if removing the flow restrictor from the clutch slave cylinder prolongs the life of the clutch as iv read it can stop clutch slip through changes and setting off.

I was told/read somewhere that the biggest killer of the Coupe clutch is sitting at lights with the clutch depressed. Might just be hoodoo or even a dream but might be a consideration worth taking note of
Suffers from CDO! It's the same as OCD but the letters are in alphabetical order, as they should be.

Cheers Rik, good to see im not talking complete gibberish haha. And the v6's have a DMF as far as I know so definitely avoid if you have one
