Hi! Possibly youngest member?

Hi! I'm ryan, im 16 and ive just bought my fourth car, my favourite by far, the superb hyundai coupe f2! ive been slowly restoring it but im no expert and am looking for any pearls of wisdom anyone can offer! The funny thing is i love it, but i cant even drive it

Fourth car at 16! I thought id had a few. Nice to see lads getting into restoring cars at your age but isn't it frustrating that you cant (legally) drive them?

Yeahh it gets annoying, looking longingly out of the window at my car
and it's already got tiny bubbling on one of the rear arches, but no rust other than that

I checked the other day, they're decent with abit of surface rust that I'm going to grind back and paint, before my car dissappears

Seems like its killed quite a few coupes, reading up on that rust thread? Mine would definitely have gone to the scrappers if I hadn't of bought it, he even sold it to me as scrap even though there was nothing wrong mechanically! Cheeky bugger...

Thanks! Sometimes I think I'm from the wrong generation because none of my mates care for the mechanical side of cars, which is a shame
