Cheers guy's... Thanks for Making me feel welcome!! :handgestures-thumbupleft: gonna have a look round the forum see if I can find some advice an info on how to get my coupe looking an running great again.... I'm a paint sprayer so body works fine for me to sort in my own time at own cost so my list isn't that bad when considering that... My list of to dos - 1. 2xTyres, 2. 2xBrake pads 3. New Timing belt!!!! Important! 4. Discover source of clunk when dry steering! Didn't notice that when I test drove it hmmmm?? Might be nothing... (5. In own time Tidy up interior, tidy up paintwork, sort rust blemishes on bonnet an respray bonet laquer wingmirrors) avoid temptation to airbrush it :icon-biggrin: tadah will hopefully be one tidy looking car In a few months!

So got new tyres on, I am doing my brake pads on Sunday, and its booked in at garage for timing belt kit on it in 2 weeks...*** oh I was quite shocked it has standard sized tyres on - I'm sure my gen1 had really wide odd sized low profiles ones??also shocked doesn't have remote central locking... The stupid alarm button on my keys driving me mad - can't tell what's on or off!!!! Anyways after brakes, timing belt everything else is cosmetic.... I will have a think what I'm doing with paint work... I am gonna have to do custom but don't know what!! that bonnets like one big canvas to me... Subtle but custom I think!

Ah ha!! I think it must have done... Was quite a relief to get to the tyre shop an buy normal tyres at a normal cost..I now get to put a couple of quid I saved to buy something else for it... Yey.
