Hi All,
I was persuaded to explore the alternative coupé owners forum by Dupe, so you have got him to blame for my presence here.
I'm still exploring and finding my way around the forum bit by bit, but it looks like there is lots of interest.
Out of all the car's I have owned, I still enjoy driving the Gen 1 most of all.
I'm living and driving the coupé in Spain at the moment, but I hope you won't hold that against me. Five times the size of the UK with two thirds the population and local garage costs at under thirty pounds an hour for competent work. Can't be too bad, but it does mean that getting to any of the UK meets is a bit of a problem.

Thanks to everybody for all the welcomes. It's great to be greeted like that.
The suggestions for a road trip over here have serious merit. With 300 - 320 days sunshine in a year, driving is a real pleasure, combine that with the reduced level of traffic here, especially once you are off the coast roads.
