My Ford Puma decided to develop a head gasket problem so I decided after much research on Autotrader to replace it with a 2006 blue Hyundai Coupe 2.0 SE from a private seller in Basildon area. I was a bit dubious about my purchase to start off with. I found the driving position and the clutch hard to get used to, and also parking was a bit of challenge at times (not being used to such a large car). However, I am pleased to say after three weeks I am really getting to strips with the car and enjoying myself. A couple of gripes...

Full consumption is a little high at the moment, but I put that down to the fact that I dont believe the car has had a thorough service for at least four years. Also lots of steering wheel wobble when the car is under heavy breaking from 60 mph plus. I put this down to the front discs being a bit warped, nothing more serious.

Overall I am very pleased with the car, it is definitely a step up from the Puma in many respects.

Hello clay and :text-welcomewave: to the forum's mate

They do get a bit of getting used to like the high clutch point and they are rather large cars but once you do you'll love it

Warped discs are easy to remedy. A lot of people use MTec discs
