Hi All
New to this forum and not an actual full size Coupe owner!
I'm a big Hyundai Rally fan and huge Slot Rally Car collector (Scalextric) - i make 1;32 scale slotcar models as part of my hobby and my next model plan is a Hyundai Coupe F2 Kit Rally car.

I have been searching the net for info, scale drawings etc and came accross this site, where i suspect there is a depth of knowledge that may be able to help.

I will update on progress on the model, but in the meantime i will take a look around.

Gareth

There is a gen3 hyundai tiburon hotwheels. Not sure on its scale against what your looking for but might help.

They can be picked up from eBay:

Thanks for the welcome gents.

I guess my first question is one of clarity on generation type.

My starting point for this project is the alistair mcrea Hyundai Coupe;
https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8065/8250 ... 2cb5_b.jpg

and similar F2 WRC Kit rally cars;
http://allracingcars.com/gallery/hyunda ... d-evo2.jpg

With my limited knowledge i'm guessing these are Gen1 Coupe F2 Kit WRC cars and the body differs mainly with the lack of the indent line along the side flanks that appear on later models and road cars?

First question - does any one has a scale drawing of the Gen1 Kit WRC rally car - or the road car it was based upon.

With regards to making peoples own cars etc - entirely possible - i make less than 50 kits and sell them in the raw state for poeple to make up - i alwasy include detailed rally decals, but these could be produce specific to peoples needs (within reason).

For examples of recent projects take a look at my Facebook group;
https://www.facebook.com/pages/SlotRall ... =bookmarks

Here are some 'i made earlier';
Skoda 130L Group A/Group B rally;
https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-x ... e=56041492

Toyota Celica Mk1;
https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-x ... e=56073784

All my models are built by hand and professionally cast - and i try to only make models of cars not made before.

Thanks again

Gareth

OMG I love your work. I would so love to have my TSIII as a slotcar, even just to sit on my desk.

I might be able to do up a CAD 2D sketch of the side and front of the GEN1 which is essentially the model your after.

If that would help let me know.

1/64 I think. There are 2 versions of that. A white one too.

Bit small for the plan here, But having looked at the one's you pictured Gareth, I'd be tempted by a gen3 just to display.

I wasn't intending to measure the car but more so sketch around some of the blue print available than scale it up accordingly. Wouldn't be 100% accurate but I would of thought it to be close enough.
