Passed my driving test at the rip old age of 42 and bought a Hyundai Coupe 2.0 SE because they look awesome! Drives real nice too...

I did exactly the same thing - passed at 42 after 20 odd years of riding motorbikes.
You'll find plenty of help and info here, but anything you can't find, just ask.
