Hello HCOC,
Not one for generic wheeled boxes, after the demise of my ignis sport, I decided to go for a coupe. I ended up with a 2001 basic 1.6. I was initially looking at the 2l se but this one came up very cheap in fantastic condition with 12 months mot.
To be honest I dont do a huge amount of milage so the cruise control would hardly be used anyway and as for air con I've only ever used it in hire cars in hot countries.
The only thing I do miss is remote locking, which is easy to sort out.
I know the gen 2 is the least desirable but I like the look of the round headlights and lines.
I'm sure I will have questions about power supplies when I come to fit the remote but for now thats it.
