Hi,
I'm Andy, I live in Bristol. Joined the other forum and got a message to bug out of tumbleweed town and come here... So I did...
Just bought the missus a 2006 coupe, I think that's what's called a Gen3.5?
Since i got it I've used these owners club pages to gather some really good tips in getting to know the new car, I've replaced the rear discs and pads, changed all the fluids in the engine, transmission, brakes, clutch, PAS and the coolant... I've replaced the cam belt, all the drive belts, all the filters, replaced the bonnet gas struts..
If it sounds like I bought a dog, not so. The only defects were the gas struts... But I wasn't happy with the state of the rear discs even though they just passed an MOT and I have been burned by too many so called professionals to trust garages. So I like to know for myself that everything is on the top line..
So far, it's been an easy car to work on, straight forward, owner maintainable.
The wife fell in love with it, goes like stink... All in all a pretty little car...very happy with it so far.
Look forward to being able to chip in myself as I learn more about the car...
Thanks for running such a forum and making your knowledge and experience available to us newbies...
