HI all, just picked up a dirt cheap '52 plate for use as a daily commuter.
Has an owners club sticker on the windscreen, so thought i'd join up and have a look around

No idea, bought it off a squaddie based near me, no idea who or where he bought it from, but whoever owned it previously should hang their head in shame.
Its got two massive holes in the boot lid from some sort of aftermarket rear wing, and front bumper has drill holes in it, where it looks like it used to have canards.
Rear arches have got more filler than Jordan, and the respray over them is awful (looks like it was done with rattle cans, not very well colour matched either).
Loads of marks on paintwork and windows from some sort of stickers too, and still got a nice black and blue ying and yang sticker on the fuel filler cap, lol
Luckily got a few friends in the trade, so will be getting all that sorted soon as i can, and will change the wheels back to a better colour.
A couple of pics added to show the car in case someone knows a previous owner, and to view the terrible spraying on the rear arches.

To be fair, the bodykit is in good condition. No cracks or chunks missing that i've noticed.
Hopefully it should clean up nicely, once repainted and properly fitted anyway

Welcome,
Have to admit reading your post i thought immediately of Daz's old car but concerned that the scrappies had fixed it up (clearly not) but good to see more parts from the dupemobile back in the club.
